Ingredients
- 250 g Ground beef
- 100 g Frozen peas
- 100 g Onion
- 10 g Ginger
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 0.5 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 medium Tomato
- 2 pieces Pav bread
Method
- 1
Heat 1.5 tbsp oil in a large pan over high heat. Add ground beef and cook for 5 minutes, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Remove and set aside.
- 2
In same pan, add finely diced onion. Fry for 2 minutes until soft. Add minced ginger and garlic, cook for 1 minute.
- 3
Add cumin powder and stir for 30 seconds. Chop tomato and add to pan. Return cooked keema to pan.
- 4
Reduce heat to medium. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tomato breaks down and keema is fragrant. Add peas and cook for 2 more minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- 5
Split pav bread horizontally and lightly butter. Heat in a pan or under grill until golden and warm. Serve keema spooned onto warm pav.
