Ingredients
- 300 g Labneh (strained yogurt)
- 200 g Flatbread (pita or Lebanese)
- 20 g Za'atar spice blend
- 30 ml Extra virgin olive oil
- 15 ml Lemon juice
- 60 g Black olives
- 100 g Cucumber
Method
- 1
Wrap flatbread in foil and warm in a 180°C (350°F) oven for 3-4 minutes, or heat directly over a gas flame for a few seconds per side until warm and flexible.
- 2
Spread labneh evenly on a serving plate, making a shallow well in the center with the back of a spoon. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.
- 3
Sprinkle za'atar blend over the olive oil pool. Scatter halved olives around the bowl. Dice cucumber and place in small piles around the labneh.
- 4
Bring warm flatbread and labneh bowl to the table together. Tear bread into pieces and use to scoop labneh, herbs, and vegetables.
