Worked out from the ingredients. How we work out our numbers
Ingredients
- 400 g Lamb leg, cubed
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper
- 0.3 tsp Salt
- 15 g Fresh cilantro
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
Method
- 1
Cube lamb leg into 1.5-inch pieces. Mince garlic and cilantro. Toss lamb with cumin, pepper, salt, garlic, cilantro, and oil. Let marinate 15 minutes.
- 2
If using wooden skewers, soak in water 10 minutes. Thread 5-6 pieces of lamb onto each skewer, packing closely together.
- 3
Heat grill or grill pan to high heat (charcoal fire is traditional). Brush grates with oil.
- 4
Place skewers on grill. Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes, until lamb is cooked through and charred on outside.
- 5
Transfer skewers to serving plate. Serve hot with flatbread, raw onions, and lemon wedges.
