Worked out from the ingredients. How we work out our numbers
Ingredients
- 250 g Ground beef
- 200 g Potatoes
- 150 g Onions
- 15 g Ginger
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 1 medium Tomato
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 whole Green chilli
Method
- 1
Cut potatoes into 1cm cubes. Dice onions. Mince ginger, garlic, and green chilli. Chop tomato.
- 2
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan over high heat. Add ground beef and cook for 5 minutes, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Remove and set aside.
- 3
Add remaining oil to pan. Fry onions for 3 minutes until soft. Add ginger and garlic, cook 1 minute. Add potatoes and cumin powder, stir well.
- 4
Return beef to pan. Add tomato and green chilli. Pour in 200ml water. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 15 minutes until potatoes are tender and keema is fragrant.
- 5
Season with salt and pepper. If mixture is too wet, increase heat slightly to evaporate excess liquid. Serve with rice or roti.
