Worked out from the ingredients. How we work out our numbers
Ingredients
- 200 g Ground turkey (97% lean)
- 100 g Iceberg lettuce leaves (or butter lettuce)
- 20 ml Low-sodium soy sauce
- 10 ml Rice vinegar
- 5 ml Sesame oil
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 8 g Ginger (fresh)
- 30 g Spring onions
Method
- 1
Combine 20ml soy sauce, 10ml rice vinegar, 5ml sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a small bowl. Stir until well combined.
- 2
Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat (no oil needed). Add 200g ground turkey and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, for 8-10 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- 3
Pour the sauce over the cooked turkey and stir well to coat evenly. Cook for 1-2 minutes more until the sauce is absorbed and the turkey glistens.
- 4
Carefully peel away 100g of large lettuce leaves, keeping them whole. Arrange on a serving plate. Chop spring onions finely.
- 5
Place 2-3 tbsp of cooked turkey onto each lettuce leaf. Top with fresh spring onions and fold into a wrap. Serve immediately with extra sauce on the side.
