Ingredients
- 280 g Millet grain
- 500 ml Water
- 2 g Salt
- 25 g Butter (or ghee)
Method
- 1
Rinse millet under cold water until water runs clear to remove dust and chaff.
- 2
In a large pot, toast rinsed millet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it releases a nutty aroma.

Add water and salt to the toasted millet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes until water is absorbed.
